With this wood chipper from the HEIZOMAT Company it is possible to chip all kinds of wood. i.e., pallets, waste wood, edge wood, slab wood, hedges, bushes and even entire trees up to a diameter of 40 cm (16") with a relatively low power input. The infeed for the chipper is by an extremely powerful single top feed roller in conjunction with a lower steel slatted conveyer having separate welded teeth.
The HM 8-400 is equipped with a drum-chipping rotor incorporating small individual knives mounted at intervals around the drum. The unique cutting angle and position leads to a sharp and quick cut. The size of the chips (20 - 50 mm) is adjustable by exchangeable sieves with different hole dimensions. The sieve prevents large piece of woods getting into the ejection chamber, and totally eliminates the last sections of chipped timber being ejected in one large piece, a usual fault with many other chippers! The shear bar can be turned four times. Supply for the hydraulic infeed roller and conveyor are powered by an in built hydraulic system.
